Dr. Suzanne Heywood-Everett is a highly experienced and registered Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS). She has an extensive background in both private practice and the National Health Service (NHS), working with individuals at all levels of care and complexity, including service development, staff wellbeing, outpatients, and inpatients.

With a specialization in eating disorders since 1998, Dr. Heywood-Everett has also developed expertise in Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), as well as physical and mental health problems. She served as the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist at a renowned NHS national specialist service in the North of England for five years. Prior to that, she established a Specialist Community Eating Disorder team. Dr. Heywood-Everett is experienced in treating a wide range of eating disorders and has authored a treatment manual that has been part of a regional research Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT), demonstrating its effectiveness. She is actively engaged in research and frequently presents at national conferences. Her expertise has been sought by various media outlets, including television and radio appearances as an expert psychologist.
